5 NEW Marketing Tips: In the Age of “Fake” Communication

Oct 4, 2017 | Marketing

“Fake” Communication?!?

That’s a little harsh, right?

Let me explain. With all the get rich quick schemes that are thrown on entrepreneurs these days, I get frustrated with the prevailing idea that to succeed in marketing we need to broadcast information to a demographic of clients formulaically.

Yuck.

Not only is this method soulless. It is expensive, and it’s starting to become ineffective.

It’s my hunch that there is a way to connect to with people, foster communication, and also become wildly successful in doing so.

Our marketing tactics need to change.

Here is my proposal for 5 Tips to keep in mind with any marketing effort.

1. YOUR PRODUCT AND SERVICE IS CRYSTAL CLEAR

Clearly communicating what you offer. Critical for your confidence, clarity is how your customers understand what you can do for them.

2. FIND YOUR PEOPLE

Immerse yourself in groups where people care about who you are and what you do. Communities work both ways; make sure its a place that you can serve, and they can work with you.

3. NEVER DESCRIBE WHO YOU ARE BY WHO YOU ARE NOT

Feel like the best way to describe you is the “anti-coach”? Stay with a higher aspiration.Communicate what you value with positive identifying words.

4. YOU CANT OUT MARKET A BAD VIBE

Before I was aware of “vibe,” I noticed that some people just couldn’t make even the best marketing plan work. And other businesses would be successful even if they didn’t plan everything out. Your vibration, your team’s vibration; is critical in marketing.

5. VALUE INTERACTION & COMMUNICATION

Brands need evangelists and social proof that they are awesome to work with. Give back, promo, and reward people who interact and communicate with your business.
